BASE - m-Banxafe
Main driver of this project is to allow person-2-person SMS payments for users with a banxafe toolkit installed on the SIM card. Additionally, based upon the same technology, Emakina has built the reload possibility for prepaid subscribers. Customers can enter the m-Banxafe menu on their handset and select to reload their prepaid card. The selected reload amount is added in real-time on the prepaid balance. This service is developed together with Banksys, who takes care of the service enrollment and payment authorization.

BASE - E-Invoice
This project allows post paid subscribers to register on the portal www.BASEonline.be and not only consult but also pay BASE postpaid invoices online in a secure way. Invoices are shown in PDF format. This service is developed together with T-Systems, who perform the invoice archiving for BASE.

BASE - Customer Care
For all e-channel projects, Emakina developed a full-blown customer care application used by the call center agents supporting the BASE clients. It allows tracking of all payment transactions, SIM card activations, online reloads, … and provides a first-hand tool for first, second and third line support.

BASE - MasterCard
Paying with a BASE MasterCard, offering many extra features such as customized cards, and getting free minutes as reward. The loyalty engine built by Emakina calculates and rewards the free minutes on the customer’s balance.

BASE - MasterCard loyalty program
Emakina has developed the loyalty engine for the new BASE MasterCard program.The more you spend on the operator network, the more you provision free minutes. Subscribers also get confirmation SMS for any transaction with their MasterCard. Last but not least, you can put your own picture on the credit card.

Emakina has built an activation tool that is used by BASE shops and BASE dealers such as Phone House, BellCompany, Media Markt, … The application allows dealers to activate new customers in real-time. This means that when the customer leaves the shop or dealer, he can immediately start calling or sending SMS, no waiting time and instant freedom of speech.

BASE - Web Reload
Reload BASE prepaid card through the Internet. With only a few clicks, money is added to the prepaid card. The customer only needs to enter his phone number, a reload amount and his credit card information or pay with an e-banking application. BASE Postpaid customers can use this online service to pay their monthly invoice or to simply add additional money on their balance and this in only a few clicks. BASE - Auto Reload
Get automatically new prepaid balance on a specific date of the month or when you run out of balance. This service requires prior enrollment and activation, but no more nasty surprises of running out of calling credit or having to run out to the store. This service is developed together with Liquix as solution provider.

BASE - E-SIM Prepaid
Order and pay online a BASE prepaid card and have it delivered at your home address in only a few days. As soon as the customer sends the activation SMS he can immediately call or send SMS. The service allows customers to transfer their current phone number to this new subscription.

Brussels Airlines is the new company born out of the merger between SN Brussels Airlines and Virgin Express. Emakina took care of the website and developed a new functionality called "manage my booking" that will make your traveler's life easier : even after registering your ticket, you're now able to change your destination, your meal, your seat... A more personalized, "self service" approach. After SN Brussels Airlines we built in more than 47 different versions, we're delighted that Brussels Airlines' management selected us again for its e-commerce website.

Brussels Airlines - b-places Second Life Portal
Emakina created a very innovative campaign in Second Life for Brussels Airlines. You will find new interactive voting boxes installed on some twenty islands of this virtual world. These voting boxes, carefully selected by Brussels Airlines, allow you to vote for your favourite island. On the b.places website, you will find a list, updated in real time, of the places that have received the most votes. A direct link will take you straight to each of these destinations inside Second Life itself. You can also suggest personal favourites that you may have stumbled across in the course of your own wanderings. The ambition of b.places is to become a true guide to the “places to be” in Second Life through this user-generated content. The interactive voting boxes will also provide you with a free HUD (heads-up display). This special window is an addition to the traditional Second Life user interface, and offers you short cuts to the islands voted for on b.places. More and more advertisers seek to gain a foothold in virtual communities. At Emakina, we strongly believe brands must bring added value to Second Life inhabitants and not only play on the hype surrounding the parallel worlds over the Net. In the case of Brussels Airlines, speed and efficiency of service are two fundamental values of this company. Customers need to find the quickest route to their chosen destination, easily. Proximus - Ugly Duck viral campaign
UglyDuck is a new low-cost, web-based basic pre-paid offer from Proximus that offers everyday low prices and reliable quality. Target : cost-conscious Proximus users at risk.
The UglyDuck brand has been launched almost exclusively through online communication.
The core message to communicate was "pay less for a basic mobile service, without risk".
Communication objective: raise awareness for Ugly Duck as a 2nd brand next to Proximus.
Timing:
- Prelaunch phase (teasing): from 22/07 to 04/08/2005.
- Launch phase (reveal): from 04/08 to 31/08/2005.
Campaign in two phases:
- Prelaunch phase: create curiosity around the arrival of a new brand, be the first (towards Simyo from Base, etc.) while revealing neither the name nor the product (these couldn’t be revealed).

On the occasion of the changing (new name, new logo) of the world's fourth-largest international oil company’s identity in May 2003, Emakina launch the new version of Total’s corporate portal site in Belgium (previously www.totalfinaelf.be). While navigating through a whole new virtual 3D town (in flash), the visitor discovers all activities of the group in Belgium : Gas & Power, Refining, Products, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Research and Human Resources.
