Social media top talent Charlie Leon joins Emakina

Emakina welcomes senior social expert Charlie Leon to its Brussels’ digital marketing department. As a highly experienced international social media manager, she masters strategy and activation in the broad and fast-evolving social media world. Emakina follows a highly user-centered approach and she is the perfect match to add her passion and knowledge to the team about audience-first planning and insights on multiple platforms.

Charlie Leon perfectly matches Emakina’s ambition as ‘The User Agency’ to boost its clients’ social media power. In the digital marketing team, she will work as Social Media Director with international accounts, setting goals to increase their brand awareness, engagement and conversion, and defining international social media strategies to reach them.

This new Emakina talent has 9 years’ experience in social media serving major EMEA and global brands. In every role she combined audience planning and analytics with test and learn strategies and the creation of engaging digital content across multiple platforms. 

In her previous position as Paid Social Media Director at m/SIX London, she was in charge of global accounts like EA Games, Toyota and Bridgestone, and helped to launch their New York SoMe team.
Before that, Charlie managed paid media for Arkadin Cloud Communications, managed social media strategies and plans for OMD Fuse Asia Pacific’s clients in Melbourne, served as Social Media & Content Executive at global booking platform Hostelworld, and worked as content and community manager and B2B marketer for agencies in London and Bordeaux.
