Emakina creativity shines at dotCOMM Awards

Creative excellence in digital experiences

Digital innovation is part of the Emakina DNA, once again awarded with three platinum and five gold honours at the annual dotCOMM Awards. This international competition rewarded Emakina agencies from Belgium, France, Sweden and Austria for outstanding social media and viral marketing campaigns, apps and websites.

Platinum for Picture Organic, Materne and Qatar Tourism

The very highest dotCOMM accolade, Platinum was awarded to Emakina’s French office for Picture Organic Clothing’snew customer website. With Emakina’s help, the innovative lifestyle brand revamped its digital platform to grow its international footprint and online sales – resulting in the biggest ever e-commerce sales. 

Much-loved Belgian brand Materne created standout buzz on social media with the help of Emakina’s Belgian agency. Through fresh, tailor-made campaigns, Emakina put a new spin on Materne’s various ranges, including organic products and mocktails.

Emakina in Belgium is also behind Qatar Tourism’s Platinum-winning travel and hospitality app – part of the country’s biggest ever awareness campaign. The app is a handy pocket guide with immersive and highly personalised content, including 360° views, bespoke travel plans, dynamic maps and much more.

Gold winners in five categories

Emakina’s Swedish office walked away with Gold for its bold Västerbottensost Swedish Carbonara campaign. By trolling Carbonara purists, they created massive reactions and huge news coverage, proving that you sometimes need to make enemies to win fans.

Winning Gold in the Fashion Website category for heritage brand Armor-Lux, Emakina’s French office was responsible for a completely overhauled commerce experience with user-friendly shopping and product customisation.

Emakina in Belgium won two Gold awards for Stellantis in the Digital Marketing Campaign category, and Qatar Tourism again for their Travel Website. For the automotive brand, Emakina was recognised for the design of CRM/PRM programmes and marketing automation for the likes of Peugeot, Citroen, DS and Opel, plus developing after-sales client marketing programmes. Qatar Tourism’s website is a benchmark in digital travel planning – a user-centric experience using the best-in-class technology of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a cloud service.

Finally, in the B2C Website Category, Emakina’s Austrian office was rewarded for their work on the pre-order service Billa Plus. This user-friendly ordering site makes event catering easy and delicious.
