Founded in 1968 and based on the Intersport label, Intersport International Corporation (IIC) has a presence in 5800 locations and in 65 countries. Since 1983, Intersport has developed sporting brands like McKinley or TecnoPro, among others. Via a system of franchises, each store is independently run and focuses on local preferences and sports teams specificities. The international slogan of Intersport is "The heart of sport".
