New portal for STIB-MIVB

Emakina has created a new portal for station agents of the STIB-MIVB (Brussels public transportation society). Within the framework of improving client services, the maintenance of métro stations is a major objective for the company. The portal makes it easier to report and monitor damage. The application offers a simple access solution for agents and allows the maintenance process to be monitored at every stage. The station agent portal gives employees greater responsibility for station management and improves the level of service in every link of the transport chain.

The portal will be deployed in all tube stations in 2005. Emakina used the new SAP Netweaver technologies for the portal part and the SAP Maintenance application for the GMAO (Gestion de Maintenance Assistée par Ordinateur – computer-assisted maintenance management).
